Chana Masala
Soak Kabuli Chana overnight in water. Boil the soaked chana. In 3 table spoon oil, add onions and stir them till they turn light brown. Then add a tea spoon each of chilly powder and dhania powder, and then a table spoon of chana masala. Cook on low flame for three minutes, then add chopped tomatoes and green chilly. Garnish with thin slices of ginger, and cook for another five minutes. Then remove from the flame and sprinkle shyam chat masala on top, along with shyam kasuri methi.
